Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThe piece uses a very easy-on-the-eyes color palette and has very crisp, gentle lines. The shading is quite lovely and shows the difference in material, especially from the tablecloth versus the grass, which is a great feat! Though the image is a bit common in idea, it is shown in a very well-articulated manner that makes it hard not to like.
I think if anything, my only real complaint would be the fact that, to me, the ribbons on the curtains blend a little too well in with the sky. Though it's a minor detail, I find it keeps drawing me back to them to try to figure out where the ribbon ends and a cloud begins. Besides that one issue, which is quite minor anyway, the piece is quite intricate, detailed and cute. It makes me feel warm and happy, and it makes me hungry from all the yummy snacks too. Well done!
